Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : Second Class Honours or Second Class Master’s Degree from a recognised University in appropriate subjects viz. Bengali, English, Philosophy, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, History, Geography & Political Science as the case may be.
For Life Science Subject : Second Class Honours or Second Class Master’s Degree of a recognised University in Zoology with Botany as a subsidiary subject in the Degree Course OR A Second Class Honours or Second Class Master’s Degree of a recognised University in Botany with Zoology as a subsidiary subject in the degree course OR A Second Class Honours or Second Class Master’s Degree of a recognised University in Physiology with Botany and Zoology as subsidiary subjects in the Degree Course.
Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : 32 years As on 01.01.2015

Age Relaxation : candidates of West Bengal

SC/ST Candidates : 5 Years
BC Candidates : 3 Years
PWD Candidates : 10 Years

Selection Process: Selection will be based on screening test/ written test & interview.

Application Fee : Candidate have to pay Rs.160/- and Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs. 5/- only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs. 20/- only for payment through Bank counter (off-line payment). SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
